A Papua New Guinea Journey.
When I told people I was going to travel to Papua New Guinea, hardly anybody knew the exact location of this country and often Africa was guessed. Remarkable, as for the Dutch you would expect Papua to sound familiar. Once an overseas territory of the Netherlands, then hopelessly abandoned. With many thanks to Mr. Kennedy for that matter. Papua New Guinea is located in Oceania. After Greenland it is the secondblargest island on this earth and the eastern side of this island is occupied by Indonesia, putting it with one foot in Asia. When I arrived for the first time at Port Moresby, the capital, the previously mentioned guessers seemed to be partially right. It did feel like Africa...
